Governor’s plane blocks 2 planes from Doctors without borders

On January 18, Monday night/Tuesday morning, I was watching Anderson Cooper reporting on site about Haiti on CNN, he had made several observations and commented/complained about many decisions that were stupid and may have most likely cost lives. In particular he (Anderson Cooper) said a Governor’s plane had assert diplomatic priority and landed on Haiti limited runway and stayed in such a way that two other planes in the airspace had to/instructed/forced to divert to Dominican Republic airport. These two planes were Doctors without Borders, loaded with Doctors, medical supplies and instruments, in additional to inflatable surgical rooms and other auxiliary effects. The diversion I would surmise must of add addition time to the doctors to get back to Haiti with all their gear. It turns out that the governor’s plane was no other then Governor of PA Rendell with about 50 or so orphan kids. From common sense I would think that 2 plane load of surgical teams with medical supplies far out weights the plane with political pull for priority, but that just me. The doctors could of been in Haiti deployed within hours and saving lives as the victims don’t have much time.
